Best of 2025
We are excited to announce that the Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library has been voted BEST Library in the River Reporter’s Annual Readers’ Choice Awards! Thank you to those who voted for the Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library. This recognition adds wind to our sails as the Library strives to serve as a cornerstone of the community, offering materials, resources, and programs that enrich lives and promote learning.

Weather Related Closings
This winter has been quite a doozy so far. If you are ever wondering if the Library will be closed or have altered hours due to inclement weather, you can get the latest updates by visiting our website. Weather related closings will always be posted in a banner at the top of our homepage. You can also get updates via Facebook and Instagram.
Student Summer Internship Applications Now Open
It’s never too early to start thinking about summer! Students in 10th and 11th grade are invited to start applying for the Library’s Student Summer Internship Program.

Free Movie Streaming with the Library
The Library’s newest free online resource, Kanopy, is finding its audience. Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library cardholders have already started to stream movies and more with this popular platform. With over 30,000 titles available to LMRL patrons, there is something for everyone!
If you have any questions about accessing Kanopy via web browser, mobile app, or a home entertainment device, don’t hesitate to contact the library.

Emergency Preparedness
![]() | With severe weather events becoming more frequent and extreme, it is more important than ever for New Yorkers to be prepared for disasters. The NY Citizen Preparedness Training Program equips residents with the knowledge and resources needed to prepare for disasters, respond appropriately, and recover as quickly as possible. Participants will learn how to develop a family emergency plan and assemble essential emergency supplies. *Each family that attends will receive a preparedness kit. *Registration required. Manor Ink
Manor Ink is seeking student reporters! Working with our local award-winning, youth-led newspaper is a great opportunity that provides a unique and invaluable experience for aspiring writers, photographers, journalists, and the like.
Teens ages 12 to 17 are invited to engage with the community, share their voice, and earn financial rewards for their writing and art along the way. Manor Ink meets every Wednesday at 3:00pm. Adult mentors are encouraged to join as well.
