Library News
The Eastern Star Building Joins the Library
The Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library just got bigger! On November 13th the Library finalized the purchase of the Eastern Star building directly adjacent to the Livingston Manor Branch. Thanks to a grant made by Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther before she retired last year, the Library was able to acquire the 3,800 square foot building at 94 Main Street from the Sullivan Chapter #298 Order of the Eastern Star.
There is much to be excited about in the near-term, and long-term prospects are even more promising as the Library Board is developing plans to replace the existing Library and Eastern Star buildings with a new library on the combined site.
Learn more about the Library’s purchase of the Easter Star building in the upcoming issue of Manor Ink.

When two childhood friends step into that delicate equation, the city and the paths of their lives will be irrevocably transformed. |
